Father’s Day Gift Guide

I can’t even begin to tell you all how excited I am to get to celebrate Father’s Day this year with Seth. I’ve talked before about our struggles with fertility last year. Both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day were kind of rough holidays in the McCausland household last year. This makes our ability to celebrate this year that much sweeter.

I know Father’s Day is at the end of this week, and I know I’m not the only mama out there that sometimes puts off present shopping until it’s almost too late. I wanted to create a Father’s Day Gift Guide for you. Most of the gift guides that I’ve seen focus a lot on the typical dad stereotype. They’re filled with suggestions for tools, work boots, ties, and socks. All those things are great, and some dads love those types of gifts. But those just aren’t the kinds of gifts that I know my husband would appreciate. So, this gift guide is filled with gifts for the other dads. You won’t find a single mention of power tools or ties, but plenty of clothing and snacks.

All of these items can still be shipped to you before this Sunday, which is a huge bonus in my book. So for all the other last minute shopper mamas, or anyone shopping for their dad/grandpa/brother, etc., everything on this Father’s Day Gift Guide is perfect for this holiday weekend!

A gift basket is honestly one of the best gifts. I got this one from Gourmet Gift Baskets, it’s the Chocolate and Coffee Basket. They have sooo many different baskets to choose from, so you can really get whatever the man in your life is going to appreciate the most.

Both of these tee shirts came from a company called Kid Teez. I actually found them on Pinterest! The first shirt I got almost as a joke, but Seth loves it. The second one is cuter and one he definitely wears more often in public. 😉

For all the coffee loving dads, Bialetti makes these cute stovetop espresso makers! Espresso makers can be kinda expensive(I’m looking at you, Nespresso). This is less than $30, and you can have espresso in minutes. Hello, lattes.

I am STILL dying over how cute these matching father and son swim trunks are. Le Club sent us these and even though I personally don’t really like swimming, I can’t wait to take Bastian to the pool this summer so he and Seth can match in these adorable swim suits.

I don’t know why I hadn’t gotten Tiles for Seth before this. Even back when we were dating, Seth was regularly losing his wallet. We got two, the one in this picture is the Slim Tile. It’s as thick as two credit cards, and just slides in his wallet. He also has the Tile Mate on his keyring(go figure, I couldn’t find his keys when I went to take this photo!). It connects to an app on his phone, and they have small speakers in them that ring so you can find them! Now I just need to get one for his wedding ring…

Seth has been wanting a tablet for a while, but he’s also really been wanting a new laptop. The Lenovo Yoga Book was the perfect compromise! It’s soo thin and light, and it folds in half so you can just use the tablet side without the keyboard. The keyboard also converts into a touch pad that comes with a digital pen. When this came in the mail, he was playing on it for hours.

Up until now, we’ve shared a thermos. Now that I’m back at work, though, we sometimes have to debate on who gets to bring the thermos to work and who has to finish their drink before we leave. No more morning debates, though, because Keurig sent us a 16-ounce stainless steel thermos. It’s way sleeker than mine, and honestly, I’m a bit jealous.

There you have it! My top 7 Father’s Day Gift suggestions for the dad who doesn’t want another pair of socks this year(Seth has a huge sock collection, thanks to me. Oops).
