Something I learned early on with our first baby, is how important a bedtime routine is. It needs to be concise and clear. And it doesn’t need to be complicated! In fact, simple is better. It took me a lot longer with my second baby to establish a bedtime routine. Everything with the second baby takes a liiiittle bit longer, haha. But our routine is simple! I offer a feeding, followed by a bath, pajamas, and a bedtime story. And the thing that has made this routine so successful, is our OXO Tot Splash & Store Bathtub.
We have been using this tub since Rosen was less than a month old, and it has been so valuable. We use it every single time we give him a bath! There are so many things that I love about it that has kept me using it consistently. It has two sides, designed to help your baby in different stages as they grow! We have been using the sloped side, which cradles Rosen’s little baby body and keeps him in place as I bathe him. The other side will be perfect as he grows and can sit on his own!

I’m going to be honest about something. A few weeks ago, Rosen had a massive blow out on my bed. We’re talking down to his knees. When it came to cleaning Rosen, in an attempt to bathe him with what was closest and most accessible to me, I bathed him in the bathroom sink. And regretted it immediately. A sink bath may have been the closer option but it was the option I regretted!
We also live in an apartment. This means that I am constantly looking for ways to save space. Having an additional bathtub with nowhere to store it would not be a win for me.
