Bunny Photoshoot with Camera Shy

For anyone that was unawares, when I was pregnant with Bastian, I worked at a local photo studio. I loved working there. I got to take lots of pictures of cute babies and kids. As well as rediscover my love for photography. It’s not something I think I would do professionally, although I did while I was in high school. I now only really take photos for my blog and Instagram, but it’s not something I’m pursuing in other venues. But I really loved working in a camera studio and think it better prepared me for my job as a blogger. Every spring, they bring bunnies into the studio. I’m still friends with the owner of the studio, so she invited us to come do a bunny photoshoot with Bastian!

I always forget it until we’re in public places, but Bastian is a very shy and introverted child. At home, around people he knows, he’s very energetic. And at home he loves the camera. He knows what’s happening if we point our phones at him or if we pull out our camera. And he loves it. But put him in an unfamiliar photo studio with an unfamiliar person pointing a camera at him, and he gets very shy. Despite that, we had a lot of fun trying to get him out of his shell a little and getting some really cute photos of him. And when we brought out the bunnies? Oh my goodness.

He really started to get more comfortable towards the end of the shoot. And he really did a fabulous jobs. And so did the bunnies. I was worried that the bunny photoshoot wouldn’t go well and that he’d be either too rough with them, or get spooked. He was apprehensive, but still interactive. It was way too cute.
