It’s been about a month since Seth and I came home from our anniversary trip to Laguna Beach, and I have been reminiscing on it. We had such a good time staying at the Ranch at Laguna Beach, and seriously just had the most fun spending time with each other(and without our toddler). While we were on our trip, we were able to drive the Mazda Miata MX5 and had the absolute best time with it.
Honestly, when we picked up this car, Seth and I just exchanged this look. Like, “Oh, this is the kind of trip we’re going to have.” A trip that was just for us. Driving that car down the beach made us feel boujee. It was the perfect mid-range sports car. Every time we got into the car, we would make comments to each other about loving the leather seats, and the smooth way the engine accelerated. I know this sounds like I’m suddenly a car blog, but stick with me. I know nothing about cars. But what I do know, is when I see a nice car. This isn’t your Corolla or family SUV. This is a car for fun.
When I think back to this trip, it is immediately synonymous with how it felt to drive around Laguna Beach with the top down on that Mazda.
